Frankfurt Team Participates in Prestigious Book Prize

24 OCT 2016

Nine volunteers in our Frankfurt office read and reviewed books that were short-listed in the German Business Book Prize this summer, and had an opportunity to attend the award ceremony last week.

Together with German business daily Handelsblatt and the Frankfurt Book Fair, Goldman Sachs has been awarding the prize under the theme “Understanding Business” for the past six years to stress the importance of business books in helping explain broader business and economic topics to the wider public. This year’s short list included 10 business books by German and American authors covering a wide range of business topics.

The winner was Christoph Keese, publishing manager at Axel Springer and former editor-in-chief of Financial Times Deutschland, for his book Silicon Germany – How we can manage the digital transformation.

The Goldman Sachs reviewers had an opportunity to meet the authors and publishers at the award ceremony.
