Goldman Sachs Selected for Bloomberg’s 2019 Gender-Equality Index
At Goldman Sachs, we believe women’s empowerment is an economic imperative, and we’re proud to be included in the 2019 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) – an index of companies recognized as global leaders in advancing women through their commitment to transparency in workplace gender reporting.
According to Bloomberg, the 2019 Gender-Equality Index is comprised of 230 companies from 10 sectors headquartered in 36 countries and regions. The index doubled in size from 2017 and with a combined market capitalization of USD9 trillion, they employ more than 15 million people around the world and 7 million of them are women.
