IIG raised its first infrastructure fund, GS Infrastructure Partners I, in 2006, with more than $6.5 billion in committed capital.
Goldman Sachs committed over $750 million of the fund’s total capital. Other institutional investors in GS Infrastructure Partners I include pension funds, insurance companies and banks.
