The Goldman Sachs Foundation

Goldman Sachs has a longstanding commitment to academic excellence and leadership development, and we believe the world’s challenges require nothing less than the fullest contribution of talent and insight from across all segments of society. Our Developing High Potential Youth program – our Signature Initiative – reflects those values by working to find and nurture bright young people in harder-to-reach communities, providing them with the resources they need to stay on the path to high achievement and future leadership.

Grant Highlight - The Next Generation Venture Fund

The Next Generation Venture Fund (NGVF) works with university-based talent searches at Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, Northwestern University, and the University of Denver to identify highly gifted 8th graders from under-represented groups and nurture them over the course of the next five years in order to prepare them for admission and success at top colleges and universities. Grant Highlight - University Access Program

Through a collaboration with 14 leading colleges and universities in the US, Ireland, South Africa and the UK, this program is designed to strengthen the emerging yet vital role the most selective colleges and universities can play in cultivating high potential young people. The program targets talented students who often live in the shadows of elite institutions of higher learning but who otherwise may not have access to the high quality education these schools can provide.
