Goldman Sachs Gives
Creating Jobs and Economic Growth

Goldman Sachs Gives initiatives align with the firm’s commitment to progress by supporting economic growth through a variety of programs, which include summer employment opportunities for inner city youth, social welfare projects in Asia, and innovative microfinance platforms.

Summer Jobs Programs

Over the past four years, Goldman Sachs Gives has granted more than $3.5 million to support summer jobs programs for underserved youth in Cleveland, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York City and Philadelphia.  The donations have funded over 2,100 summer jobs and internships across the five cities.

These programs provide underserved youth between the ages of 13 and 24 with summer employment and educational opportunities that capitalize on their individual strengths, develop their skills and competencies, and provide them with resources and support focused on long-term professional growth.
