Because of 10,000 Women, I am confident that I will be able to continuously improve my current business operations while exploring more product offerings in the next few years.
Rajja Business Center is a retailer of surveillance and security systems.
The challenges that I face in my business include the lack of management experience and confidence, and the unavailability of capital to finance projects.
As a result of the confidence I gained through 10,000 Women, I was able to successfully negotiate a contract to provide vehicle surveillance cameras for the Ninoy Aquino International Airports. Because of this project I have hired three new staff. By June 2010, I plan to add five more full-time staff.
2009 was a trying year for me but our sales have picked up and we have three new upcoming projects. We are bidding for our fourth and are hopeful to close it successfully as well.
I am also in the process of applying what I learned in the marketing and finance courses to develop and submit a feasibility study to supply solar powered products from Spain.
My future goal is to continuously improve my current business while exploring local retailing and distribution opportunities of solar powered products such as chargers and fans.
