The large number of firms that recruited at my university made differentiating between them difficult. However, when I came to Goldman Sachs and met the people, my decision was clear. While people were intelligent, professional and incredibly self-motivated, they were also modest and friendly.
After I received my offer, I was impressed yet again by my future colleagues’ genuine interest in helping me determine what job fit me best, even if it was not with their group. I found mentors who to this day continue to provide me with invaluable advice regardless of whether we continue to work on overlapping projects.
