My Work
I work in the Technology division of Goldman Sachs, currently managing the network, telecom and multimedia functions for the office in Bangalore, India. My responsibilities include designing, engineering, and implementing tactical and strategic technology solutions for the firm.
The most interesting aspect of my job is meeting and dealing with extremely talented people in the industry, including sales representatives, product managers, account managers, technical specialists and executive officers. This provides me with the opportunity to stay on top of new technology and adoption trends in the marketplace.
Excellent communication and coordination skills are a must as our work is dynamic and fast-paced. Team work is stressed in everything we do. It’s one of the firm’s 14 business principles: ”We have no room for those who put their personal interests ahead of the interests of the firm and its clients.” We put that into practice every day.
