I work in the Finance division of Goldman Sachs, as part of a global team of risk specialists that independently analyses and reports the firm's market risk. We look at what’s happening in the market and demonstrate how these market events could financially affect Goldman Sachs. We focus on the European region, but we work closely with our counterparts across regions in both New York and Asia.

In order to get a broad perspective of trading business risks, globally and in Europe, we have to assimilate and process information from multiple sources. The ability to incorporate such a vast amount of information is key and gives me plenty of opportunity to keep learning each day.

The work here is primarily team-based; we work together to provide European and global risk packages to senior leaders, highlighting key risks. I also work individually on my specific product lines to gain more insight into their trading activities and risks so that I can bring this expertise and insight to the larger team.
