I work in Private Wealth Management (PWM) which is part of the Investment Management division. I am part of a sales team that serves high net-worth individuals, their families and family offices in the Hong Kong region. My team is responsible for building and preserving our clients’ financial wealth through asset allocation and investment strategy according to their particular risk tolerance. We also leverage the strong Goldman Sachs franchise to provide clients with access to other services available at the firm, such as investment banking and private equity.

PWM is more than just wealth management. I get to work closely with clients from different backgrounds, which gives me the opportunity to hear first-hand their success stories and gives me a closer view of their respective industries.

I usually work as part of a small team with two to three Investment Professionals who develop and manage the client relationships. My managers place great emphasis on open discussion and collaboration. When developing customized solutions for clients, every person on the team is actively engaged from the idea generation phase to the final execution of our strategies.
