I came to Goldman Sachs through Business School in France. I contacted the firm directly about internship opportunities. I really wanted to intern at a place where I could see myself long-term. Goldman Sachs seemed like a great fit for me because of the quality of its team and the incredible number of opportunities that arise from its network - both from a career standpoint and from a business perspective, given Goldman Sachs’ variety of intertwined businesses.

When I first joined I was really surprised by everyone’s level of focus. There is a sense here that people want to succeed and contribute to the firm. What helped me become acclimated was my team’s willingness to support me. They always asked if I had any questions, and they also interacted with me on a more social level.
