Looking back, Goldman Sachs was always the firm that was cited for best practices or case studies in business school. I had already joined the work force at another firm when the Goldman Sachs’ India operations started up. After many rounds of interviews, when I made it to Goldman Sachs, I knew this would be my career.

Four years later, I still don’t know where the time has gone. I am a new mother, and any doubts I had about managing work and family was quelled by the tremendous support I received from the firm to pursue my career. I’ve enjoyed every day I’ve worked with the firm, and there are still many more to come!

For anyone who would like to have a career in finance and has a passion for the job, my advice is to go for it! There’s a world of opportunity out there for you, and it can only get better.
