I went to business school at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, and specialised in finance and insurance. Through campus selection, I was placed into a financial services firm where I began my work experience in the corporate world. Two years later I joined Goldman Sachs.

I remember walking into the office on my first day with the firm and seeing a sea of new faces. I'd joined the firm as part of the Goldman Sachs India Wave 1 team. I met the people who were soon to be my managers, mentors, trainers and friends. I was impressed with the level of involvement each person had – even those who were not directly involved with my process. That day, the much talked about Goldman Sachs culture became something I could attest to.
