My Day

I spend the majority of my day on the desk talking to clients. I am mostly on the phone but I also use other forms of communication such as Bloomberg chats and email, any way to get in touch. It’s a very transaction oriented job so it’s always busy when you have to execute trades and think of new ideas.

The most challenging part of my job is staying on top of all the new information that comes out throughout the day. As a salesperson, it is imperative that you have relevant ideas. In order to engage clients you need to be prepared with intelligent views and original opinions.
