I work in the Leveraged Finance division of our Investment Banking division in London, so I am involved in structuring the debt packages of private equity transactions. Over the past three to six months, I have been involved in developing our Russian leveraged finance practice. Most recently, the most interesting aspect of my job was learning about the credit markets in Russia and, especially, structuring debt transaction for Russian corporates.

I believe there are many opportunities available at the firm, many of them in our emerging markets areas. For example, our Moscow office is growing quickly, and in the Investment Banking Division there we have been hiring people on all levels – Analyst, Associate and VP – over the past 12 months. There are always opportunities for talented people with strong skills and good prior experience who are willing to develop.
