It’s hard to predict where you will be in five or ten years’ time. However five years ago, I did anticipate that I’d be working in the financial industry. As for ten years from now, I expect to grow from my daily work experiences and to have attained my MBA, which I am currently pursuing part time.

My advice to anyone seeking a career in finance would be to seek out opportunities and take advantage of all of the firm’s resources, such as mentors and training. If you are interested in a specific area or want to learn more, speak with others who work in the area – suggest grabbing lunch or a coffee – to meet and discuss your interests and questions.
