Juan Carlos

I am a Vice President responsible for negotiating leveraged finance transactions to support buyouts and recapitalizations for Goldman Sachs’ corporate and private equity clients.

I am also involved in extra-curricular activities within the firm, including diversity recruiting, the firm’s Hispanic/Latin Network and other community-oriented activities, such as Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

I think the most interesting aspect of my job is working in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment with some of the most talented and creative professionals in the leveraged finance business. In every transaction, I work with a team that includes other Goldman Sachs professionals from Leveraged Finance, Investment Banking, Credit Advisory and Capital Markets. In the Goldman Sachs culture, each individual on the deal team is encouraged to provide ideas, and in every case the final outcome is based on team consensus, with the interest of the firm and our clients at the core of every decision. This focused team approach is unmatched in the industry.
