My Work
I work in the Finance division, on the Asia Market Risk Management & Analysis team, in Tokyo. We’re responsible for monitoring risk exposure and performing analysis on the firm’s trading and principal investing areas.
My role enables me to understand high-level trading and investing strategies employed by different businesses in the firm, so I am able to develop an all-round knowledge base of the industry. It also exposes me to technical training for analyzing portfolios with a wide range of financial products, including the most recently developed structured products.
My managers constantly encourage us to think of new ways to improve on existing processes and methodologies, giving us plenty of opportunities to come up with innovative solutions. In addition, as the firm expands and takes on risk in new areas, I believe there will be massive opportunities for my team to play a more important role to support the firm’s growth.
