I came to Goldman Sachs through campus recruiting during my pursuit of an MBA at Columbia University. I interviewed with most of the major brokerage firms. Eventually, I realized that Goldman Sachs was where I wanted to build my career. Throughout the interview process and summer internship in New York, I was especially drawn by the firm’s focus on client service and insistence on team work.
After working in the New York office for about two years, I relocated to Beijing to further develop my research career in Asia. It has been a very rewarding experience to follow high-growth companies in a vibrant and emerging market. I now cover some of the largest utility companies in the region. Additionally, it has been a privilege to be part of our growth in mainland China – our research personnel has grown over 15-fold during my tenure in Beijing.
