My Day

My daily responsibilities include developing stock ideas, identifying micro and macro trends and providing market color or context for my institutional clients. I often act as a bridge between our research analysts and clients. We work closely together as a team. We start each day with a morning call where research analysts equip us with ideas – or ammunition with which we can engage clients.

One side benefit of my job is the opportunity to travel. As a salesperson covering the whole Asia region, I regularly visit clients and companies in other cities in Asia.

I especially enjoy starting new relationships for the firm through establishing new accounts. Building up a level of trust with clients is paramount, and I treasure the relationships I’ve built over the years. When an institutional client leaves his firm, joins another and calls me up to resume the sales coverage, I find that validating and rewarding.
