Hiring Process

Working in Brazil offers a long-term, stimulating career to individuals who are self-motivated, energetic team players. English is the official language of business, and knowledge of Portuguese is essential.

While the interview process may seem rigorous, it has many advantages. It helps us to determine if you are a good fit with Goldman Sachs. It is also your opportunity to see if Goldman Sachs is right for you, and we encourage you to ask questions of us. The benefit is that once you start, you know you’re working in the right place.

For Interns, New Analysts and New Associates:
Goldman Sachs is committed to helping graduates prepare for a successful financial career. Because internships in Brazil last a year and run parallel to the academic calendar, we are working to ensure that graduates get the most from this training period, which lays the groundwork for a full-time position.

During the interview process, we encourage you to be straightforward about your achievements and knowledge. Teamwork is critical to our firm’s success, so we look for strong communicators with great people skills.

The São Paulo office offers the experience of working in a fast-paced environment with a small group of people. It is a particularly stimulating environment for those who like having a wide range of daily responsibilities and seek to gain expertise in many different aspects of the business.
