Technology Infrastructure provides global thought leadership, solution deployment, delivery and support for a broad suite of technology products and services at Goldman Sachs.
The group leverages global expertise to develop leading-edge technology solutions that meet business demands and differentiate the firm’s technology offerings in the marketplace. It also enables the operation of the firm by managing an extensive computer platform and global communication networks, while addressing technology, compliance and reputational risk and resilience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collecting and analyzing feedback and usage patterns that drive requirement definition
- Designing, implementing and ensuring the seamless operation of infrastructure throughout all layers of the technology stack – physical through the application level, encompassing enterprise as well as workplace technologies
- Providing leadership for the planning and execution of large scale, multi-disciplined technology projects
- Developing business cases to assess the commercial value of internal technology investments and deploying a framework for making sound business decisions

Technology Risk is a global function responsible for analyzing security and resilience threats and risks to the firm's information, applications and infrastructure. The team drives assurance that controls are developed to protect both the firm and our clients as well as meeting regulatory obligations. The team has a diverse set of risk professionals including information security and business continuity specialists located in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
