The Securities Division is comprised of Equities and Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities. 

Equities
Goldman Sachs Equities assists our clients with investing and trading strategies by providing research, market analysis, trading information, share recommendations, tailor-made structures, and market-making and execution services. Parts of the division are also responsible for investing the firm’s capital to generate medium-term returns from special opportunities.

Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC)
Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities is at the forefront of worldwide markets in interest rate and credit products, foreign exchange and commodities. This is a fast-paced environment where global events have a profound and dynamic effect on the markets.

We assist our clients with their investing and trading strategies by providing economic research, market analysis and trading information, specific asset recommendations and market-making in all the relevant securities. Parts of the group are also engaged in investing the firm’s capital to generate returns from short and medium term opportunities.
