As a new associate with an MBA and 3 to 4 years of work experience, you will begin your career at Goldman Sachs by participating in a two day firmwide global Associate Orientation and a one day Operations Orientation to acculturate you into the firm and the division.

The induction program includes the following topics critical to your short- and long-term success:

  • The Goldman Sachs culture and history
  • Operations' organizational structure and strategic direction
  • Relationship and network building with global colleagues from across divisions and within Operations
  • Functional skills development, such as delivering client service excellence and operational controls and risk management

As you continue to integrate and develop your careers within Operations, you will have the opportunity to attend a number of training programs, offered by Goldman Sachs University, to further build your product knowledge as well as your functional, leadership and management and professional skills. The division provides a supportive and collaborative environment in which to continually develop and progress, both through formal training opportunities and on-the-job developmental experiences.
