Spotlight on Goldman Sachs’ New Dallas Office

08 MAY 2018

Goldman Sachs recently relocated offices to a new building complex in Dallas—the firm’s third-largest office location in the Americas—at the newly renovated Trammell Crow Center in the heart of the Dallas Arts District.

Trammell Crow Center is ENERGY STAR and LEED certified and hosts an on-site health center, wellness rooms, a micro market and other amenities including a concierge service, dry cleaner and car wash.

Goldman Sachs' workspace is designed to support teamwork and flexibility, and features Activity Based Working (ABW), which allows people to choose from a variety of work settings—collaboration, focus, conferencing and social space– to best suit their needs. In addition, some teams have adopted flexible seating, allowing individuals to choose where they sit each day. There are height adjustable desks for employees to further customize their work space.

“The new space looks fantastic, and the feedback from our people has been very positive,” said Tom Dowling, head of the Realty Management Division and head of the Dallas office.

The office has people from 12 of the firm’s 16 divisions, including Investment Banking, Merchant Banking, Realty Management, Securities, Technology, and Operations.

Just two blocks south of Klyde Warren Park, the redevelopment of the Trammell Crow Center will bring 34,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space to the two-block site, which is neighbored by the Crow Collection of Asian Art and Nasher Sculpture Center. In a city with over 420 restaurants and bars and 170 shops, Trammell Crow Center sits within three blocks of more than 42 dining options.

Forbes named Dallas the fifth best big city for jobs, the fourth best city for young professionals and the third fastest-growing American city in 2017.
