Goldman Sachs Announces Its Partnership with the Ron Brown Scholars Program

Goldman Sachs is excited to announce its partnership with the Ron Brown Scholars Program. Over the next four years, the firm will award a total of 40 talented high school seniors in the US with two-year scholarships to be awarded during their freshman and sophomore years of college. If the scholars intern at the firm, they will be eligible to receive an additional two years of awards through the Scholarship for Excellence.

Goldman Sachs Ron Brown Scholars will be selected based on economic need and a demonstrated interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship. These interests represent the four pillars of the late Ronald H. Brown’s mission to uplift people of all races, cultures and ethnicities – especially our disadvantaged youth.

Goldman Sachs will award each scholar with a total of $20,000 dollars throughout during freshman and sophomore years ($10,000 per year). Scholars will then have the opportunity to intern with the firm; those who intern with the firm will be eligible to receive an additional $10,000 per year during their junior and senior years through the Scholarship for Excellence.
