Campus Ambassadors Gather in London
On September 23, nearly 60 Goldman Sachs campus ambassadors studying in England came together at the London office for our inaugural EMEA Campus Ambassador Launch Event.
The title of campus ambassador is given to all students in the Americas and EMEA who receive a returning intern or full time offer on the backend of the internship, placing ambassadors on campuses across those regions. Students’ role as a campus ambassador is to talk to their peers about their experience with the firm, the recruitment process and their plans for the future. Many of our ambassadors also aid in raising awareness of Goldman Sachs events on campus and spearhead awareness events on campus of their own.
“This is the first time we’ve brought our campus ambassadors from the region together for training, networking and brainstorming new ways to engage fellow students,” says university relations recruiter Katrina. “As a result, students on campuses across England can expect a more vibrant Goldman Sachs presence than ever before.”
To support our ambassadors, Goldman Sachs will award financing to help execute the top 10 event ideas submitted by campus ambassadors at the event and over the coming year.
