Prime Brokerage Custody Management is responsible for providing Regulatory oversight, risk management and compliance oversight to the Prime Brokerage business. A PBCM Analyst/Associate is assigned to a specific team or teams and is responsible for exception processing, analysis and resolution as well as regulatory oversight and other risk/support related functions. One of the primary functions of the group is to work closely with Client Service Representatives, and other areas of Goldman Sachs to ensure risks are minimized while providing best in class client service.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Provide risk management and oversight of account exceptions within the Prime Brokerage business
• Communicate with business leaders, and senior managers on metrics and risks of business
• Deliver presentations and training to business leaders and senior managers
• Create specifications and recommendations on process improvements
• Produce project plans and work with IT on implementation of changes
• Run meetings and produce minutes and track follow up progress on projects
• Monitor and resolve exceptions, in accordance with Firm guidelines and as required by our regulators.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with all industry regulations that apply to Prime Brokerage accounts.
• Perform oversight on exceptions managed by the Prime Brokerage Client Services team

Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 4 years of industry experience with an understanding of Margin requirements and Regulations T and Rule 15c3-3 preferred
• Compliance experience a plus
• Proven record of project management experience
• Excel and power point presentation skills
• Experience with metrics and performance measurements
• Experience managing projects
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy
• Understanding of risk and exposure
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal , including presentation skills and interviewing skills
• Fast-tracker with the ability to quickly learn functions, re-engineer them and manage them.
• Outstanding people and leadership skills
