Management Controls - New York - Vice President - Information Technology Auditor Securities (Position #21532)
The Securities Applications Technology Audit team performs reviews of technology risks and controls within a challenging, dynamic and complex business and technology environment. The areas of coverage mainly include systems that support the sales and trading business areas of Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities and Derivatives, as well as Operations, Controllers, Treasury Operations and Global Security Services (Prime Brokerage, Stock Lending and Clearing Services). A strong background in technology (client server architecture, programming, databases, data analysis, messaging and Operating Systems) and /or proven technology audit background within Financial Services industry are necessary.
Key skill sets include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering and/or other related disciplines
- At least 7 years experience with a variety of system technologies
- People and team management skills
- Experience with database systems (e.g. Sybase), operating systems, programming languages and other multi-tiered architectures
- Experience utilizing computer-assisted audit tools and/or database tools to operational and financial audits
